Is there a mobile app?

Edgeely currently runs as a web app optimized for desktop and mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is on our roadmap. In the meantime, the web app works well on mobile for quick trade logging and reviewing your stats on the go.

Each journal entry supports: instrument, direction (Buy/Sell), entry and exit price, stop loss, take profit, lot size, commission, swap, P&L, risk-reward ratio, trading session (Asian/London/New York), trading setup, entry and exit psychology, confluence factors, notes, lessons learned, chart screenshots (HTF/MTF/LTF timeframes), and trade management comments. It is the most comprehensive trade log available for retail traders.

How does psychology tracking work?

When logging a trade, you select your entry emotion (Calm, Focused, Confident, FOMO, Revenge, Greedy, Hesitant, Unfocused) and exit emotion (Satisfied, Regretful, Frustrated, Relieved, Disappointed, Proud). Over time, Edgeely correlates your emotional state with trade outcomes — revealing which psychological states lead to your best and worst trades.

Yes. You can upload chart screenshots at three timeframes — Higher Timeframe (HTF), Medium Timeframe (MTF), and Lower Timeframe (LTF) — alongside each trade entry. This makes reviewing your setups far more meaningful during weekly review sessions.

Can I import trades from my broker?

Yes. Edgeely supports CSV import from major brokers and platforms. If you connect an MT5 account, trade history can be synced automatically. Manual entry is always available for any broker or instrument not covered by import.

You can filter trades by instrument, trading setup, session (Asian/London/New York), direction (Buy/Sell), result (Win/Lose/Breakeven), status (Open/Closed), and date range. The calendar view gives you a visual overview of your activity by day. All filters can be combined.

How does the Backtesting Journal work?

You create a backtest session by defining the trading pair, initial capital, start and end dates, and optional target profit and max loss limits. Then you log trades within that session exactly as you would in a live journal. Edgeely tracks your session equity curve, win rate, profit factor, drawdown, and all key metrics — giving you a realistic view of how your strategy performs before risking real money.

How many backtest sessions can I run?

Free plan: 1 session. Starter: 2 sessions. Pro: unlimited sessions. Each session is independent — you can run separate sessions for different strategies or instruments side by side.

Is there a limit on backtest history period?

Yes, depending on your plan. Free plan: up to 1 month per session. Starter: up to 6 months per session. Pro: unlimited — test as far back as you need. Longer history gives you a more statistically robust view of your strategy.

What stats does a backtest session show?

Accepted Answer

Each backtest session shows: total trades, win rate, total P&L, profit factor, average risk-reward ratio, current balance, peak balance, and maximum drawdown. You also get a full equity curve and per-trade breakdown — the same metrics you see in your live trading dashboard.

Can I set profit targets and max loss limits for a backtest session?

Yes, on the Pro plan. You can define a target profit percentage and a max loss percentage for each session. If your session equity hits either limit, the session is marked as Completed or Violated — giving you a realistic simulation of prop firm challenge conditions.

It can: analyze your trading setups and give structured feedback, review your journal performance and identify patterns, help you fill in trade details from a natural language description, analyze chart screenshots you upload, score your trading session (Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor) with specific improvement recommendations, and answer trading questions. It responds in the language you write in — English or Indonesian.

How many AI messages do I get per month?

Free plan: no AI access. Starter: 30 messages per month. Pro: unlimited messages. The message counter resets at the start of each billing cycle. Pro also unlocks full session analysis, AI-assisted trade form filling, and deeper coaching features that are not available on Starter.

Can the AI analyze my chart screenshots?

Yes. You can upload chart images directly in the AI chat. The assistant will analyze price action, identify key levels, and give feedback on your setup — just as you would discuss a chart with a mentor. This is available on Starter and Pro plans.

No. The AI is a journaling and analysis tool, not a signal service. It helps you understand your own patterns and setups — it does not tell you what to buy or sell. All trading decisions remain yours. Edgeely does not provide financial or investment advice.

Edgeely supports accounts on MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView, and any other platform via manual entry. You can also mark accounts as Live, Demo, or Proprietary Firm. For MT5 specifically, Edgeely offers real-time balance and trade history sync.

How does MT5 account sync work?

Connect your MT5 account using an authentication token from your broker. Once connected, Edgeely syncs your account balance, equity, free margin, deposit and withdrawal history, and can flag the account for trade history sync. This gives you a live view of your broker account alongside your journal.

Free plan: 1 account. Starter and Pro: unlimited accounts. This is useful if you trade across multiple brokers, manage a live account alongside a demo, or are running one or more prop firm funded accounts simultaneously.

Trading Preferences (Pro only) let you set daily trading rules directly in Edgeely: maximum trades per day, maximum daily loss, maximum daily profit, fixed risk per trade percentage, and a trading time window. These are designed to enforce your own rules automatically — especially useful for prop firm traders who need to stay within daily loss limits.

Yes. Edgeely gives every user a public profile page at a custom username URL. Your public profile shows your overall win rate, P&L, trade count, account types, top traded pairs, and equity curve — without exposing your exact trade entries or account balances. You control whether your profile is public or private.

Asset Breakdown (Pro only) shows your P&L distribution by asset class — forex, crypto, stocks, futures — across your chosen time period. It helps you identify which asset classes you trade profitably and which you should consider reducing exposure to.

Is my trading data private?

Yes, completely. All your trade data, account details, and journal entries are private by default. We never sell or share your data with third parties. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Only you can see your data unless you choose to make your public profile visible.

Can I export or delete my account and data?

Yes. You can export your full trade history at any time. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated data from your account settings. Deletion is irreversible and removes all your journals, setups, sessions, and profile data from our systems.

All plans include the core trading journal. Starter and Pro unlock more accounts, sessions, analytics, and AI. Pro unlocks everything with no limits.

We accept QRIS, GoPay, OVO, ShopeePay, bank transfer (BCA, BNI, BRI virtual account), and credit cards. Payments are processed securely via Midtrans. Pricing is available in both USD and IDR.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription from your account settings at any time. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period, then your account automatically reverts to the Free plan. No cancellation fees and no questions asked.

Yes. Annual billing is available for both Starter and Pro plans. Starter costs $50/year (save $10 compared to monthly). Pro costs $200/year (save $40 compared to monthly). Annual billing is billed in full upfront and renews automatically each year.
