PT. Edgeely Kreasi Data Nusantara ("Edgeely", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Edgeely trading journal and analytics platform, accessible at edgeely.com and app.edgeely.com. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Edgeely, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and Profile Data

When you register, we collect:

• Full name and email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Profile picture / avatar (optional)
• Username (for your public profile)
• Currency preference and language settings
• OAuth provider identifiers if you sign in with Google or Apple

1.2 Trading and Journal Data

All data you enter into the platform is stored and associated with your account:

• Trade entries: instrument, direction, entry/exit price, stop loss, take profit, lot size, P&L, session, setup, psychology notes, lessons learned, chart screenshots
• Backtest sessions: strategy rules, session parameters, equity data
• Trading setups and strategies you define
• Trading account details: account name, broker, platform (MT4/MT5/cTrader), account type, initial balance, currency
• Daily checklist items and completion logs
• Trading preferences: daily loss limits, risk per trade, trading windows
• Comments and notes added to trades

1.3 Broker Integration Data

If you connect an MT5 account, we receive and store via your broker's API:

• Account balance, equity, and free margin
• Deposit and withdrawal transaction history
• Trade history sync data

We do not have access to your broker login credentials. Connection is established via an authentication token provided by your broker.

1.4 Payment Data

Payments are processed by Midtrans, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number or payment credentials. We receive and store:

• Order ID, payment method type, plan, billing period
• Payment status and transaction timestamp
• Discount codes used
• Billing currency (IDR or USD)

1.5 Usage and Technical Data

• IP address and browser/device information
• Session tokens and authentication logs
• Feature usage patterns (pages visited, actions taken) for product improvement
• Error logs for debugging

2. How We Use Your Information

• Deliver the service: Calculate performance metrics, generate analytics, power the AI assistant, and display your journal and dashboard.
• Sync broker data: Pull MT5 balance and trade history on your behalf.
• Process payments: Manage your subscription, billing cycle, and plan access.
• AI features: Your trade data and chat messages are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate analysis responses. Anthropic does not retain this data for training purposes under our enterprise agreement.
• Communicate with you: Send transactional emails (account verification, payment receipts, password reset). We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
• Improve the product: Aggregate, anonymized usage patterns help us prioritize features and fix bugs.
• Security and compliance: Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited cases:

• Midtrans — payment processing. Governed by Midtrans's own privacy policy.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI assistant responses. Messages are processed in real time and not used for model training.
• Your broker — when you authorize MT5 integration, data flows between your broker's API and our servers.
• Legal requirements — if required by applicable law, court order, or government authority.

Public profile pages are visible to anyone with the link if you choose to make your profile public. You can disable your public profile at any time in your account settings.

4. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. Access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel. We perform regular security reviews and keep dependencies updated. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure — if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at privacy@edgeely.com.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and local storage only: to keep you logged in, remember your active trading account selection, and store language preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling technologies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data, journal entries, setups, sessions, and preferences are permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems within 30 days. Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indonesian financial regulations.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data via your account settings.
• Deletion: Permanently delete your account and all associated data from your account settings or by contacting us.
• Portability: Export your full trade history in CSV format at any time.
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from any marketing communications at any time.
• Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting us.

8. Children's Privacy

Edgeely is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure is primarily hosted in Southeast Asia. If you access Edgeely from outside Indonesia, your data may be transferred to and processed in Indonesia or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Edgeely, you consent to these transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of Edgeely after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
